Founded in 2024 by Terry Jervis and Phil McDermott (Jervis And McDermott – JAM) these two ‘Brothers’ from different parts of England (London and Birmingham) both have a passion for music of all genres and want to see the best musicians, singers and songwriters shine – no matter what their age, gender or any other thing which discriminates against talented people. Together, they give the label a rich history in music, media and business.
Terry Jervis
is a former BBC TV executive, producing some of the biggest music shows in the world. Apart from being a producer and director of film, TV and music, he also worked with Motown, Def Jam, Island, Virgin, EMI, Sony and many labels over the years.
Although a successful business man operating in a number of markets in honours and awards, jewellery and engineering, his passion throughout life has always been music of all genres. He worked with bands on the thriving Birmingham music scene in the 1970’s and early 80’s.
Their combined skills and knowledge are what they believe a modern record company needs; an understanding of talent, how consumers of music feel and various digital and physical ways people engage with music to bring maximum enjoyment.

“We are all one” is the theme which gave the band their name BiG CELL. The group takes an active interest in the human condition around the world. They write about things which affect our lives, from romance to greed and corruption; every aspect of life’s journey is explored in their music.
BiG CELL is about the DNA which links us all as human beings. They are great musicians and storytellers, with live performance at their heart. Their lyrics and emotions in their musical arrangements will capture true lovers of music.
BiG CELL line up consists of 2 lead guitars (including lead vocalist), 1 bass guitar, 1 drummer, and each band member sings backing-vocals and harmonies. They are influenced by a range of musical styles from rhythm & blues, reggae, rock and some of the greatest live bands
The band are from the Midlands (the central region of England) and have been together for many years. Having played the live circuit and crafted their art, they have always been in the business for the music, not short term hunters of fame but true technicians!
